Sometimes the gift that means the most is the one that you take your own time to make. So why not sew gifts for him?

I've always been a big believer in home made gifts. I've talked a bit about home made gift baskets. That's because I always feel that a gift that you've put your own time, effort and sweat into is a gift of love.

It's not that hard to jump on the net, find a gift and buy it and the jobs done. It's his birthday, you've bought your gift. It's easy.

It's much harder to take your own time and effort to make him something with your own hands, and that's why I think it's a lovely gift. Because there's something of you in it.

I've been looking at sewing gifts, because if you're going to make him a gift you need to make a gift using a skill you have, and so many women like sewing and knitting. I've decided to look at sewing. So today it's the theme of sew gifts for him to show him you love him.

Not all women sew of course, but the principle applies to any skill you have. Use your skills to find a great way to make him a gift that comes from your heart.

Back to sewing gifts. I've browsed around a little at sewing websites to see what suggestions I can find for sewing gifts for men, because I always like to think of something a little different. Now of course there's no reason why, if you sew, you can't just sew him some great clothes, but that's the obvious idea. I wanted to find something a little out of the ordinary for a girl who wants to sew something special for her man.
